The label layout dialog allows you to customize how fields print on your labels. You may edit the layout of all of the available label styles.
Please be aware that you must test any changes you make to the layout. The program cannot ensure that the fields will print correctly on your labels.
Click on the drop down list to select a label style.
You may select to disable barcodes for the selected label style. With HCL label formats, this permits an additional line of print data.
The label layout is arranged by line and column. HCL label formats allow two columns per line. The Medi-dose label is too narrow for more than one column of print data.
Field data is specified by tags, which are enclosed in < >. Tags correspond to the fields on the label entry screen. Supported field tags are:
The layout editor also allows a small amount of text to be entered in each cell. This text will be printed on every label.
For example, examine the default setup: "Exp " which is printed before the expiration date, and a space to separate generic name and strength.
Click this button to restore the "factory" settings for the selected label style.
To save your layout, you must click the Save button.
