To DOWNLOAD a file with Internet Explorer:
- When you click a link to download a file, you will see a dialog box like this one:
- Make sure that the Save this program to disk option is selected.
- Click OK. You will see a Save As dialog box showing a list of folders and files on your hard drive.
- Write down the name of the file you are downloading, in case you need to find it later.
It will have a name like stuff.zip or stuff.exe or stuff.prc.
- Click the Desktop icon, then click Save.
- The file will be downloaded to your computer's hard drive and the link to the file will be on your Windows desktop.
- Depending on the size of the file and the speed of your Internet connection, this may take a while.
- You will be notified when downloading has completed. Click the Close button.
To DOWNLOAD a file with Mozilla Firefox:
- When you click a link to download a file, you will see a dialog box like this one:

- Click the appropriate link for the software installation tutorial:
- The downloaded file is no longer needed.
Remove it by dragging the icon from your desktop to your Recycle bin.
